The exciting 3D Blu-ray Disc Recorder with impressive archiving capabilities
This extraordinary 500GB 3D Blu-ray Disc Recorder packages 2D>3D conversion, with a twin HD tuner, enormous archiving storage and a host of networking options into one stylish unit.
Leap right into the action with Full HD 3D
The BWT700 offers 2D to 3D Conversion, making it possible to convert images from 2D DVDs and Blu-ray discs into 3D with natural depth perception, so you can enjoy your current 2D movie collection in vivid 3D.
Twin HD tuner, SD memory card slot and archiving function
A twin HD tuner means you can record two digital broadcasts simultaneously in Full High Definition while watching a Blu-ray/ DVD movie, or a third channel via your TV tuner. If you don’t have a digital TV, this also allows you to watch a digital broadcast and record it simultaneously. The BWT700 also features an SD memory card slot, making it easy to view movies and still images captured with your HD camcorder or digital still camera. There is even a HD Archiving function, so you can save beautiful Full High Definition images from an SD memory card to the built-in hard disk drive or Blu-ray Disc.
Connect to your home and the world beyond it
For enhanced connectivity, the BWT700 offers DLNA as server and client, allowing files to be shared across a range of devices throughout the home. Watch the same movie the kids are watching in another room, or look at photos from your latest trip all accessed from the one device. The unit features built in Wi-Fi, so you can easily connect to VIErA Cast and enjoy real-time calls with family and friends via Skype. You can also watch videos on YouTube, check out photos on Picasa and keep up to date with stock information and weather forecasts on Bloomberg.
VIErA Cast with Skype just keeps getting better
Missing a Skype call will be a thing of the past. With the BWT700, your friends will be able to leave a Skype message if you are unable to pick up the phone call. Simply press the Skype button on the player remote control to answer the call or insert a SD card, record a message and let the player take a message from your friend.
DLNA Certified
Share content wirelessly throughout the home. The DMR-BWT800 is both a client and server for DLNA, enabling you to share content to and from DLNA certified devices in the home.
